First Week of School 

The first day's of school are some of the most important day's of the school year. This is when you establish your reputation as a teacher. For an education class, I created a First Week of School unit. It is complete with a class syllabus, 3 lesson plans, a letter home, and a multi-media introduction. 3 Lesson Plans for the First Days of School

I designed three lesson plans  for the first days of school. I decided to plan an mini-project involving 6 word memoirs to get to know my students at the very beginning of the school year. I plan on jumping striaght into learning on the very first day of school. This will help set the tone of my classroom and will prepare students work hard. 

 

 

Multi-Media Introduction

I created this introductory video so that students can get to know me a little bit at the start of the school year. The video shares a few personal interests of mine as well as details about me as a teacher.

Letter to Parents

Here is the letter I prepared to send home with my students on the first day of school. This letter is meant to open the door for communication between me and my students family's. I hope to establish a positive relationship with my students and their parents/guardians from the very start of the school year.
