I was initiated in Kappa Delta Pi at Butler University in the Winter of 2012. Kappa Delta Pi's mission is: "to strive to sustain an honored community of diverse educators by promoting excellence and advancing scholarship, leadership, and service." I have attended several meetings, professional development, and service events with Kappa Delta Pi.
